PRIZES
The jury will award the following prizes in each category:
All participants who score below 85 points will receive certificates of participation.
The jury may also award several special prizes. The jury may, for example, award a prize for the best performance of a particular composer, whose birth or death is being commemorated in the year of the competition.
The Laureates of each category can be only competitors who have won the 1st prize (95 -100 points).
The younger laureate is the overall winner, in the event that both competitors have an equal number of points.
Winners (laureates) of categories A to G are awarded cash prizes in the following amounts:
Category A – €50 Category E – €150
Category B – €80 Category F – €200
Category C – €100 Category G – €250
Category D – €120
Special Prize for Performance of Sonata by D. Scarlatti – €100
Special Prize for the performance of L. van Beethoven on the occasion of his 250th birthday – €100
