Ruben Dalibaltayan

Ruben Dalibaltayan (1973) was born in Yerevan, Armenia. He studied with Anahit Shahbazyan in Yerevan, Arthur Berngardt and Valery Kastelsky in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
He is a prizewinner of ten prestigious international piano competitions in Armenia, China, Croatia and Italy. He also gives special attention and dedication to the promotion of the works of Armenian and Croatian composers.

For the „Blagoje Bersa piano works“ double CD Ruben received the highest cknowledgement of the Croatian Ministry of Culture – “Vladimir Nazor award”
He is a Professor of piano at the Zagreb University Music Academy. In 2017 he was invited to be a guest Professor in Liechtenstein Music academy. 2018-2019 he is taking professorship in Brescia Music Academy “Talent Music Master Courses”.

Among his students is Aljosa Jurinic – the winner of Robert Schumann Competition ( Zwickau 2012), Finalist of Frederic Chopin competition(Warsaw 2015), 5th prize of ” Queen Elizabeth” Brussels 2016 and Ivan Krpan – 1st Prize winner on Ferruccio Busoni Competition (Bolzano 2017) as well as Ettlingen International Piano Competition 2016.
